Ural Super League Ambassador — Andrey Melnikov
Andrey's career in volleyball began at the age of 8. As he grew older, his passion for this sport only intensified, but for a long time he failed to build a successful career. By the age of 26, Andrey had tried his hand at several clubs, but had not achieved results he could be proud of.
At the moment when Andrey decided to radically change his life, he received an offer fr om the Ural Super League, which he accepted without hesitation.
Ural Super League is a brand known far beyond the region of the matches. The USL games are watched by scouts of many clubs from all over the world. In just 4 months spent in the league, Andrey received a huge number of offers from teams from different countries.
Dreaming of traveling, Andrey, having completed all his obligations to the Ural Super League, accepted the offer of the Azerbaijani club. After winning several national championships, he continued to develop and joined the Romanian club Corona Brasov, wh ere he now plays in the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) Cup. Having achieved what he has been striving for all his life, Andrey does not forget his "mother" league, which gave him a ticket to big-time sports.
During the New Year holidays, Andrey and I met in Baku to congratulate him on his professional growth and to present him with a limited-edition merch of the league's first ambassador. We wish Chalk further development and proud representation of the Ural Super League on the world stage!
